        The upkeep of your facility is an ongoing process and maintenance is normally conducted in either or both of two forms: preventive and corrective.  Preventive maintenance is maintenance that addresses issues in a normal cycle and is designed to reduce or eliminate equipment failure (such as changing the oil in one's car).  Corrective maintenance is maintenance required to address a problem that has already occurred and to assist in bringing back a normal operational state of the equipment.
